Strawberry Passionfruit Tea- I love the strawberry flavor because they usually have a light, sweet aroma and flavor. The passionfruit adds some tropical and tangy aroma into the mix. The tea adds a nice antiquated and slightly bitter aroma and flavor that is not too bitter.
Pomelo Lemon Fruit Tea- I bought this to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Pomelo is the main fruit eaten during that celebration. Pomelo has a more subdued and bitter flavor compared to lemon, which is bright and sour. The tea balances out the acidity of these citric juices.
Virgin Mezcal Paloma and Elote- I went to this bar in Bayside to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. I wanted to try the national cocktail of Mexico, but had to settle for the non-alcoholic version because I didn't want my mother and maternal grandmother to get angry at me for drinking alcohol without their presence. The cocktail was delicious, it had a perfect mix of grapefruit, chili, and smokey aroma and flavor. As for the elote, I love eating corn the way it is meant to be eaten in its country of origin.
Autumn Breeze Margarita- My very first sip of tequila on my 27th birthday! And it's in a cocktail! It was Chili's Margarita Of The Month during November 2024. It was way better than I expected! It was like sipping on a tequila version of the Cosmopolitan cocktail!
